According to what emerged from the well-known leaker Tom Henderson, the next chapter of the famous videogame saga developed by Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts, Battlefield 6, not only it will be a cross-gen title, but will sanction a full reboot of the series, with the ultimate goal of supporting a maximum of 128 players in multiplayer battles. According to the information leaked in the last few hours, the title should bring players back to war zones already explored, drawing inspiration from the previous one Battlefield 3.
Henderson he added that the ability to reach such a large number of people (128-player online games) is highly unlikely for current-generation consoles. Therefore, in online mode the maximum number of users supported by PS4 and Xbox One could be around 64 players per match.
