Since when Microids bought i gaming rights of Asterix & Obelix, he immediately thought of bring the XXL series back to life with the remastered of the second chapter and the third unreleased episode. However, fans were disappointed by the lack of the return of the first and original episode of the saga, the one released in 2004 on PlayStation 2, Gamecube and with a simplified version on Game Boy Advance. Apparently Microids he listened to these requests, and today he officially unveiled Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered.
Remastered version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC developed by the boys of OSome Studio it includes, within it, a updated graphics, a command to pass from the new edition to the original game, a new camera e some animations rebuilt from scratch. Also, it is important to note how all of them are the original voices and the voiceovers from that time have been kept. Unfortunately, it has not yet been released no images or trailers dedicated to the product, but the publisher said it is slated to hit physical and digital stores on October 22, 2020.
