In the past few hours, the first trailer of Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered, remastered version of the famous action / adventure game released in 2004 on PC, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo GameCube. The video, which you can conveniently find on the cover, in addition to highlighting the completely renewed game graphics, introduces four new playable modes introduced by the team of Osome Studio:
- "Parkour", enhancing the player's agility
- "Against the hourglass", for lovers of timed challenges
- "Extreme", for gamers looking for challenging challenges
- "Back", which will allow users to switch from the original graphics of the title, released in 2004, to the new remastered version
Asterix and Obelix return to their village after a day of wild boar hunting only to find that their homes are on fire and their friends are missing. Our two heroes, and their faithful dog Idefix, set out on a journey in search of the inhabitants held as prisoners all over the world. Get ready to fight thousands of Romans, explore the world - in places like Gaul, Egypt, Greece and Rome - and take on a grand mission in this long-awaited remaster!
Please note that Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered di Microids e Osome Studio will be available from next October 22 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
