The problem experienced by players over the past few weeks has finally been resolved Assassin's Creed Valhalla, let's talk about the disappearance of trophies following the passage of your game from PlayStation 4 to the new PlayStation 5. This misunderstanding has caused several discontents, especially to those who have long been dedicated to collecting trophies, finding themselves having to replay the entire title again in order to get back the stolen goods. Some users have even gone so far as to refrain from upgrading to the new console to avoid such damage.
It must be said that Ubisoft Montreal has managed to create a very easy and comfortable cross-gen experience for players, as owners of Assassin's Creed Valhalla for PS4 and Xbox One can perform the passage on the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S at no additional cost. Given these good foundations, it is a pity that a problem such as that of the disappearance of trophies has held back players from taking the generational step, at least as regards the new title of the Assassin's Creed saga.
Ubisoft it therefore made a commitment to find a solution to the problem and did so very quickly. Patch 1.04, released this November 26, has in fact made this change, solving the problem. Curious is the fact that the resolution of the glitch is not present in the patch notes, despite this, players have been able to see their trophies appear, now also on PS5. This means that if you too were afflicted by this problem - and perhaps you have hesitated to make the switch to next-gen - with the update of the game to the latest patch you can easily live your title even on PlayStation 5, without losing anything ... almost.
Unfortunately there are still reports of some users who have encountered even more serious problems, i.e. corruption of save files. Those who have stumbled upon this error at the moment can only start Assassin's Creed Valhalla all over again, as there is still no solution to this dilemma. It must be said, however, that Ubisoft Montreal immediately set in motion even on this serious problem and reassured its fans by communicating that the fix patch will arrive in the coming weeks.
