One of the most interesting features of the highly anticipated Xbox Series X it is certainly the Smart Delivey, function that allows update an Xbox One game to its Xbox Series X version completely free (preventing users from buying an almost identical product twice). Unfortunately, not all titles available on both platforms will support this feature, which is why our colleagues at Windows Central have reported products, currently confirmed, that will adhere to Smart Delivery.
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla
- Call of the sea
- Chorus: Rise as One
- cyberpunk 2077
- Destiny 2
- DiRT 5
- Gears 5
- Halo Infinite
- Scarlet nexus
- Second extinction
- The Ascent
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon
- Madden NFL 21 (unlike those previously elecanti, here the Smart Delivery is limited time. In fact, to take advantage of this promotion you only have time until the release of Madden NFL 22, probably scheduled for the winter period of 2021)
According to Microsoft's statement, more precisely the section Xbox Game Studios, their goal is to allow that all cross-gen games - along with some products designed primarily for Xbox One - use Smart Delivery, so as to facilitate players as much as possible. As we have detailed at the following link, the products that will take advantage of this feature will have the covers simply marked as Xbox (with below, through a black banner, indicate the consoles in which it is compatible). In this way, therefore, it does not matter which version you buy, because we will still have both the Xbox One edition and the Xbox Series X edition.
Currently, we don't know all the titles that use this feature, or how long Microsoft plans to offer this important feature to its players. Waiting to find out, we remind you that a leak has recently been released on the new design of the Microsoft Store, in addition to the opening of the official page dedicated to the pre-order of Xbox Series X.
