One of the most important series dedicated to the world of rally racing is certainly WRC, also known as World Rally Championship, which this year has reached its ninth iteration. Today came the confirmation from the developers of KT Racing and the publisher Nacon that WRC 9 will be available on PlayStation 5 both digital and retail, and a free update from your copy for the current generation. The next-gen console version will run at 60 frames per second and with a resolution in 4K, as well as having full support for haptic feedback and especially the adaptive triggers of the new Dualense. Upgrade from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5
- Digital - The PlayStation 4 digital version of WRC 9 will allow you to download a version of the game for PlayStation 5 at no additional cost starting November 19th (worldwide).
- Physical - The physical PlayStation 4 version of WRC 9 will allow you to download the digital version for PlayStation 5 at no additional cost when released (PlayStation 5 with disc player required. Disc must remain in the console in order to play).
As expected, purchasing a physical or digital version of the PlayStation 5 version will not allow you to play on current-gen systems as well, as the redeemed copy will remain exclusive to the next generation system. On the occasion of this reveal, a new gameplay trailer of World Rally Championship 9 recorded on the new Sony console was also released, which is already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One e PC (via Epic Games Store), and will soon be arriving on Xbox Series X / S e Nintendo Switch, in a launch window yet to be defined.
