Among the most popular videogame series of all time it is impossible not to mention BioShock, the branded trilogy 2K Games which has been able to break into the hearts of the players since the release of the first chapter in the now very distant 2007. It is therefore not difficult to understand why, when we talk about a new chapter - the much talked about BioShock 4 -, many are enthusiastic. As revealed by a rumor also emerged in the past few hours, the brand new title in the series, BioShock 4, could be a game openworld.
In the past few hours, Cloud Chamber - the software house that is currently developing the new BioShock - has updated its job advertisements, modifying some of the positions for which it is possible to apply. These include AI programmer, UI / UX designer, Tools programmer, Senior world designer, Senior technical designer, and Senior writer. Precisely the description of this latter role is the one that has struck several web users, who have in fact noticed a clue not to be underestimated: according to what is stated in this job announcement, BioShock 4 would be an open world game.
In the announcement it is in fact possible to read that Cloud Chamber is currently looking for a Senior writer “able to write impactful stories set within a openworld". Furthermore, the other roles also seem to provide some clues as to what could be the play structure of the next BioShock. Obviously, despite the official nature of the job advertisements, we advise you to take this information with the "very famous" pliers, as they may not actually reflect what the finished game will be.
