Over the last few weeks we have unfortunately had to deal with many unpleasant postponements and cancellations, divided almost equally between events and video games, which have unfortunately led to a current impoverishment of the offer that the market offers. The extremely tense climate due to the coronavirus has led to several pessimistic rumors, regarding a possible and further postponement related to The Last of Us Part 2, which, however, seems to have been recently refuted through a sudden Tweet by N same.
With a post on its official Twitter profile, the software house wanted to reiterate that the work is still ready to debut in 70 days, taking advantage of the arrival of spring to declare the aforementioned affirmation. We attach below the aforementioned Tweet posted by Naughty Dog.
Today marks the first day of spring…. And just 70 days until the release of The Last of Us Part II! pic.twitter.com/hLXpuGWCji

There is no talk of a real cancellation of the possible postponement, nor of the coronavirus, but it is practically assumed that the developer wanted to contradict all the recent rumors, at least for the moment. We hope that the next information on The Last of Us Part 2 is exclusively pleasant, and that what the software house said will not be denied by a further Tweet.
Let us know what you think about this situation: do you think the game will be postponed in any way over the next few weeks? Waiting for new updates, we would like to refer you to our article regarding a new trailer for the game, which features Ellie in action in a short gameplay sequence.
