Although it now seemed certain that the highly anticipated The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope would have made its debut very soon, in just four days, unfortunately the developer announced today an official postponement of the game. The new work of Supermassive Games it will in fact make its debut at autumn this year, as we don't have a new release date outside of this generic launch window. According to what has been declared, it seems that the postponement is due to the coronavirus, given that precisely because of the pandemic, the software house was unable to follow the classic development rhythms.
However, the work seems to bring excellent premises into play, while wanting to remedy the flaws that the community has reported regarding the first title of the anthology released, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan. The new setting is the city of Little Hope, which has had a very close past with the legends of witches, now back just to give the various protagonists a hard time.
We therefore hope that further information will not be long in coming over the next few days, and that the new title of Supermassive Games will amaze us with its qualities. While waiting for a more precise release date, we would like to refer you to our preview of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope.
