After the surprise announcement of the Summer of Gaming of IGN, in the past few hours Geoff keighley, a well-known Canadian videogame journalist and TV presenter, announced through his profile Twitter official that the Game festival made by Steam will return. The second edition will take place in the same time frame as E3 2020, by 9 14 to June, and will show the public totally unreleased games and demos. At the moment we don't know which publishers will attend the event, but we plan to learn more in the coming weeks. We report in detail what is reported by Keighley:
In the last few months I have been thinking a lot about the new “global” and “digital” ways of celebrating videogames during the summer. Today the announcement of the Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition will be the first preview of what's to come in the months to come. The Festival will also expand across multiple platforms.
Finally, we remind you that the new digital event created by IGN, Summer of Gaming, is also scheduled this summer, which will be held at the beginning of June, showing the public the main news coming during the next next-gen.
