In the course of Game Summer Fest, the conference organized by Geoff keighley, a new trailer of Starbase, the development team's space-themed multiplayer title Frozenbyte. Set in a vast and detailed universe, the title will be based on the construction and design of ships and space stationsas well as exploration, resource gathering, crafting, trading, and combat. The title will offer players the ability to move freely and explore a vast interactive voxel-based environment featuring an in-depth destruction and simulation system.
The depth of the simulation in all aspects of the game will allow players to have one absolute freedom, to fully express their creativity and innovation, the key ingredients for success in the game. Whether it's building individual spaceships with a tough outer shell or designing huge automated factories complete with power and data communications, players will be free to implement their ideas as they see fit, always keeping in mind that the environment is completely damage and the game mechanics typical of a voxel system combined with those of a vertex system will allow a simulation of great depth.
At the moment a release date is not yet available, but the title is expected to be launched in the course of 2020. So we just have to wait for news on the title.
