After taking back the exploitation rights of Alan Wake and close to the launch of Control, Remedy has undoubtedly returned to global attention. Following, a rumor also peeps out - which as such we invite you to take it with pliers - that would see Sony ready to make an offer to acquire Remedy in full. The chances aren't even unlikely given that just a couple of weeks ago, post E3, it was rumored that the Japanese company was looking around to buy new first party studios. The loss of Remedy's exclusivity with Microsoft puts the Finnish studio in the position of being easily acquired without further legal problems.
We await further developments, to understand if it could be a simple rumor or something more concrete.
