It's been years now since the last appearance of Sly Cooper. The last chapter, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, dates back to 2013. Despite this, Sanzaru games had already expressed a month ago his desire to revive the series by developing an unreleased episode, but there has been no more news about it.
Well, a leak that recently emerged could rekindle the hopes of those waiting for his return. Two online retailers, namely InstantGaming and Press-Start, have added in their catalog Sly Cooper 5, by inserting a generic 2020 as the release date. This could certainly be a clue to a possible arrival of the game on PlayStation 5, however it is still rumored at the moment, pending any confirmations from Sony. It would certainly be an excellent launch title for the new generation console, which is expected by the end of the year.
