In the past hours Konami shared on their account Twitter an audio clip of the iconic siren of Silent Hill 2, to celebrate the huge success of the expansion available for Dead by Daylight. Too bad that the tweet in question was misunderstood by fans, thinking that the post had to do with the announcement of a new project linked to the famous horror franchise of the Japanese company.
“Close your eyes. It's always scary. The siren of Silent Hill 2 "
What really intrigued gamers, including himself Dusk Golem, was the mention by Konami an "official" account dedicated to Silent Hill. The profile in question would have been created in July 2020, refuting the previous statements of the Japanese giant when it claimed not to work on any project related to the famous horror saga. Furthermore, as reported by the well-known insider, Twitter it would allow large companies to claim certain accounts even after creation.
What do you think? Was it just a big misunderstanding or something is brewing at the studios of Konami? That the company is preparing to announce a new one Silent Hill, perhaps on the occasion of the possible State of Play "Predicted" by Jeff Grubb and planned for the next 5th August?

We are sorry we got people fired up. Anything official would come from first from @SilentHill or an event or something, not from us. We were just being fans and enjoyed the noise / memories. Sorry everyone, did mean to kill your Friday mood.

(1/2) I hadn't noticed this until now, but the official Silent Hill Twitter is really bizarre. It does just have the username @SilentHill, which obviously would've been taken some time ago, Konami's official Twitter account forwards to it.
But then Konami says they wouldn't https://t.co/vKnRvyY54z
