Two of the questions most made by gamers for PlayStation 5 is definitely the fan noise, after the PlayStation 4 is certainly not remembered for being silent. Fortunately, our Japanese colleagues from Dangeki Online were able to preview the fifth generation of Sony Interactive Entertainment, revealing that it is apparently remained silent while the console did not overheat in the more than 80 minutes of the game session a Godfall e Astro's Playroom.
The journalists of the Japanese site therefore say that it is present a huge step forward compared to all versions of PlayStation 4 currently available on the market, confirming how Sony has committed itself to one of the aspects that most worried fans. Unfortunately, in their test it was not possible to test further games such as the anticipated Demon's Souls or Spider-Man Miles Morales, as well as some of the triple-A titles of this generation such as God of War or The Last of Us Part II. We must therefore observe if this upgrade is maintained even for heavier games, but already knowing this information is certainly a joy for several users.
Obviously other newspapers Japanese journalists were able to test PlayStation 5 in advance and with the same dynamics, such as 4Gamer and Famitsu. All of them could note the improvements and features sopa described, confirming that this awaited gaming platform is shaping up to be the Sony console quietest ever. In particular, it should be noted how 4Gamer mentioned the air intakes on the front and top / side of the machine and the main drain on the back. These help heavily with the PlayStation 5's cooling solution, thus maintaining the apparent result of these previews. In case you are curious, we leave you at one of the videos published by these newspapers that show everything in action. Unfortunately, everything is in Japanese without any kind of English translation, but thanks to this presentation it is possible to observe the actual height of the PlayStation 5, its controller and the full-bodied gameplay of the two aforementioned launch video games.
