When it comes to features and peculiarities that a new generation console can bring compared to the past one, it is always very interesting to find out what news the manufacturer has decided to add or share among more machines that could also enjoy a greater ecosystem ( such as Microsoft Xbox consoles). News of these last hours is the peculiarity of being able to reproduce the titles PlayStation 4 containing in the service PlayStation Plus Collection, then of PlayStation 5, on the console of the now past generation. Let's go to better explain this strange but at the same time useful practice granted by Sony.
By owners of PS5 and PlayStation Plus you will be able to play some titles of the last generation by redeeming the product on the new console and enjoying all the improvements made. Once done, however, the games are now also available on the "old" PS4, thus allowing you to play certain products on multiple consoles. But where is the gain in this context? Very simple ... let's say that we have recently purchased the new and high-performance Sony machine and that we have decided to permanently replace the now expensive PS4, perhaps giving it to a friend or relative. Well, at this moment, always keeping our profile on both consoles, the person who will receive the PS4 gift will find the same titles redeemed by us on PlayStation 5 in a totally free form that can be played once downloaded from the store.
Such a practice, totally legal, could also have negative implications for Sony, for this reason we believe that it will soon be patched or at least fixed. In the meantime, however, if you want to have a complete list of the entire collection available on the PlayStation Plus Collection of PS5, we leave you at the following link. Have you already pre-ordered or received your next-gen console? Let us know as always in the comments.
