    PlayStation 5: here is the new date for the event dedicated to new games

    Last week, due to the riots that are hitting America, Sony decided to postpone the event dedicated to the reveal of the games PlayStation 5 at a date to be decided. This decision, which came out of respect for much more important things than video games, was then followed by the whole industry with postponements of events of all kinds. Finally, however, a glimmer of light is beginning to be seen: a leak would in fact point the date to 11 June at 22.00.

    The rumor came from an advertisement Twitch appeared by chance: this, among other things, highlighted the new date, namely 11 June at 22.00. Roberto Serrano had said it on his Twitter account, and now it seems to be reality.

    barring other unexpected news, Sony's event dedicated to PlayStation 5 games is set for June 11, 2020.

    * SHOULD BE CONFIRMED *

    Among the many things that should be shown, it looks like the long awaited will be revealed Resident Evil 8 by Capcom, as well as a new project by Bluepoint games e Bloodborne for PC and PS5 in high definition. So we give you an appointment on 11 June a little before 22.00 to follow the event with us: we will comment live on the long-awaited reveal of these games, real windows on the highly anticipated next-gen. We leave you an excerpt from the official press release below.

    Hello everyone, thank you for your patience and understanding for rescheduling this event for PS5 on Thursday 11 June at 22:00 CEST. It was necessary to step aside to make room for other more important voices in this historical moment.

    Now that the event has been confirmed for June 11th, I wanted to add that this pre-recorded show will be broadcast at 1080p and 30fps. This facilitated the event production process at a time when a large part of our team and developers work from home. As you can imagine, the games you see on Thursday will be even more spectacular when played on PS5 with a 4KTV.

    If possible, we recommend that you watch while wearing a pair of headphones - the event contains great audio that may be more difficult to enjoy if played through the speakers of your phone or laptop.

    But enough with the chatter. Below is an updated version of Jim's original post. See you Thursday!
