La PlayStation 5 she is finally ready to arrive in our living rooms, and the titles of the last generation are preparing to evolve with her. According to the user of Twitter Lance McDonaldIn fact, God of War, God of War 3 Remastered e Final Fantasy 7 Remake have updated these days to be compatible with PlayStation 5 support. Although McDonald confirms that all three games will now be able to run easily on the new console, we still don't know what the improvements will be for the three titles.
Ok I can confirm that God of War 3 Remastered, God of War (2018) and Final Fantasy 7 Remake have now been updated with some amount of added PS5 support. However, there's no way to know what amount of "support" this actually is until we get hands-on.

Okay, now I can confirm that God of War 3 Remastered, God of War (2018) and Final Fantasy 7 Remake have been updated with a certain amount of features for PS5 support. However, there is no way of knowing what amount of "support" will actually be added until we get our hands on it.
Presumably these updates will bring some sort of improvement in resolution and framerate, but we will have to wait to experience this evolution in the performance of the three games. Besides, not there has not yet been an official announcement from Sony or the respective developers of the three games.
All the titles involved had not been updated for months, e the sudden appearance of patches therefore has strong ties to the imminent arrival of PlayStation 5. However, it seems these aren't the only games that will be updated in the near future. These patches would be nothing more than a way to prepare the various Sony exclusives for the next-gen console, in order to better support the machine and take advantage of its additional power to enjoy higher or stable framerates and resolutions based on the product and its technical limitations. There are also those who argue that these updates can serve Sony not only to improve the graphical aspect but also to integrate the functionality of the new PlayStation 5 user interface, which has numerous new features related to trophies, sharing and much more.
