Taking into consideration the titles whose performances have already been revealed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, we have therefore compiled a list of the graphic and technical features that these will offer. Some will also debut on the PC market, and thanks to the minimum and recommended requirements that have already appeared on the net we can hypothesize the cost of some configurations that allow their operation at the same resolution and FPS level as consoles. So let's see together the already confirmed performances of the exclusive titles for PlayStation 5, for Xbox Series X / S and for multiplatforms. Before leaving, we would like to specify that the mere resolution is not the only parameter for the visual quality of video games, as also applies to Ray Tracing, and that therefore we will be able to discover the actual visual rendering and the details on the screen only pad in hand. .

PlayStation 5

  • Marvel's Spiderman: Miles Morales will run at 4K and 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 in performance mode, which will likely remove Ray Tracing or some graphics details to ensure greater stability. The special edition of the game will also include a remastered version of Marvel's Spiderman for the new console.
  • Gran Turismo 7 it is meant to run at 4K resolution and up to 120 frames per second, but the company's vice president said 240 FPS could be achieved as well.
  • Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart it will also offer two game modes, one that will guarantee 4K at 30 FPS and another that will allow you to enjoy 60 FPS, even if we do not yet know which resolution or trick will be applied.
  • Demon's Souls Remake it appears to be designed to run at a solid 60 FPS on the PlayStation 5, although we still don't have details on the resolution that will be chosen.
  • Quantum error will support 4K and 60 FPS on PlayStation 5, but will also make its debut on the console of the current gaming generation.
  • Astro's Playroom, a title already installed in all new Sony consoles, will guarantee 60 FPS per second in 4K.

Xbox Series X | S

  • Halo Infinite will show up in 4K at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, but it looks like it will be possible to play 343 Industries' new work at 120 FPS too.
  • Gears 5, the latest iteration of the shooter series currently in the hands of The Coalition will receive an upgrade on Xbox Series X, reaching 4K with 60 FPS, and will have an option for 120 FPS on both Xbox Series X and Series S.
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps will run at 4k and 120 FPS on Xbox Series X, we have no information regarding Xbox Series S.
  • Gears Tactics after arriving on PC it will run at 4K and 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, and will likely achieve the same frames at lower resolution on Xbox Series S.
  • Forza Horizon 4 will run at 4K resolution at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X.
  • Forza Motorsport comes with better features than the chapter just mentioned, as on Xbox Series X it will also add Ray Tracing to 4K 60 FPS.
  • The Ascent, one of the new Xbox-exclusive IPs, will deliver 60 FPS in 4K on Xbox Series X.
  • Crossfire X it will run at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, although we don't yet know the resolution that will be supported.
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will bring the Note IP back to Xbox Series X, reaching a fixed 4K 60 FPS.
  • The Dusk Falls will arrive on Xbox Series X integrating 4K with a fixed 60 FPS.

Multiplatform

  • Deathloop will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 and will allow you to play in 4K with 60 FPS per second. A version for Xbox Series X will arrive later, but we do not yet know a precise date for the latter, as well as the performances that this will offer.
  • Ghostwire tokyo, just like Bethesda's multiplayer title, will arrive on the Sony console and on PC and will offer the same performance.
  • Ride 4 will hit 60 FPS and "up to 4K" resolution on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, which will likely result in a drop in frames. We estimate that a GTX 1070Ti / RTX 2060 can achieve the same quality level. A balanced PC setup could be prepared for around € 700, considering these video cards.
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War it will run in native 4K with 60 FPS and Ray Tracing active on both new platforms, and will support “up to 120 FPS”, but we still don't have more precise details on that.
  • Bugsnax, work coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, will be able to run on the new generation Sony in 4K at 60 FPS. The technical requirements indicate that the work has very few technical claims, so a configuration with a GTX 1660 / GTX 1660 Super / RX 580 could achieve the same quality, while still falling within the costs of a PlayStation 5, as it would be achievable for less than € 500.
  • Rainbow Six Siege aims to reach 120 FPS per second in 4K on new consoles, through the free upgrade that will be released later this year. As this is a well optimized game on PC, a system that reaches 120/144 FPS in 4K could be composed with a GTX 1070Ti / RTX 2060 / RX 5600 XT, which would again bring everything to a cost of around 700 € total, but it would be sufficient once the game settings are well calibrated.
  • Dead by Daylight will be revolutionized for the next generation, and will reach 4K resolution with 60 FPS. The horror title is quite light and a GTX 1650 / GTX 1650 Super / RX 570 can definitely make it, at least considering the current graphics level of the game, a setup with one of these video cards could be achievable for € 400 / € 450.
  • Borderlands 3 it will be free on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X for owners of the game, and will guarantee 4K at 60 FPS. Considering the optimization problems of the work on PC, it is likely that a GTX1080Ti / RTX 2070 Super / RX5700 will barely allow operation with these specifications. However, a balanced configuration with one of these video cards could be around € 1000 and calibrating the settings well may be sufficient.
  • Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. By activating Ray Tracing, players will be able to choose whether to play in 4K with 30 FPS or in 1080p with 60 FPS. It will also be possible to select 120 FPS by disabling Ray Tracing, but we do not yet know with what resolution these will be coupled.
  • WRC 9 will be able to run in 4K resolution at 60 FPS on PlayStation 5, but we do not yet have precise information regarding the new Xbox consoles. While its hardware demands are not insignificant, we feel we can consider the possibility that the game could face similar quality with an additional PC configuration containing GTX1080Ti / RTX 2070 Super / RX5700 for an approximate total of € 1000.
  • Chorus it will run in 4K at 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and will also include Ray Tracing in the package, which seems to allow it to maintain stable performance anyway.
  • Destiny 2: Beyond the Light will receive an upgrade on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and will run in 4k at 60 FPS on both machines. Bungie's multiplayer title could reach 4K at 60 FPS with the same quality through a GTX1080Ti / RTX 2070 Super / RX5700, which brings the total cost of the configuration back to around € 1000.
  • DiRT 5 will run in 1440p with 60 FPS on Xbox Series S, and in 4K with the same frames on Xbox Series X, while we still don't have precise news regarding PlayStation 5. The title is really heavy, and it is unlikely that a worse video card than the RTX 2080 Super manages to achieve the same quality, a system with the latter could cost around 1400 €.
  • Marvel's Avengers, a recent multiplayer title by Crystal Dynamics will run at 4K and 60 FPS on next-gen consoles. The superhero-themed work could reach 4K at 60 FPS with a GTX1080Ti / RTX 2070 Super / RX5700, again configurable in a balanced way for about 1000 €.
  • Assassin's Creed Valhalla will support 4K at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, but we don't have more information on the other consoles yet.
  • Scorn, the timeline exclusive for Xbox Series X, will run at 4K and 60 FPS on the platform, and the result is likely to be emulated on PlayStation 5 as well.
  • Scarlet nexus will reach 4K at 60 FPS on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as soon as it is officially released by Bandai Namco.
