Without any warning, Nintendo made an incredible announcement that so many fans have been hoping for for too long. With a small trailer, the Kyoto House has indeed announced Pikmin 3 Deluxe, a reissue of one of Nintendo's masterpieces coming to switch. The owners of the hybrid console par excellence will also be happy to know that this is not a simple port, but an improved version of the game that will contain lots of unreleased content.
The video posted on YouTube, lasts just under two minutes, briefly shows some sections of the game, but this is not what captures the attention. In fact, the title reigns supreme, revealing the release date official Pikmin 3 Deluxe: the Switch version of the game will arrive - or rather land - in fact the 30 October of the current year.
To reveal to us what the new contents instead, the official Nintendo website takes care of this re-edition, which lists what's new in the Switch version of the title! Compared to the Wii U version (console on which Pukimin 3 was originally released) the Deluxe version will contain:
- A new Cooperative mode, which will allow two players to complete the entire campaign together.
- New missions, also playable in co-op, with protagonists Olimar e Louie, heroes of the first two chapters of the series, Pikmini and Pikmini 2.
- New difficulty levels.
- Mission Challenges, a mode with head-to-head battles and online leaderboards.
- Some improvements to the gaming experience, like coupling system improved targeting, enemy balance changes, optional clues, and more.
- Piklopedia, a collection of character descriptions and their personal observations of creatures encountered by the player.
Also, Pikmin 3 Deluxe will contain all the DLCs published on Nintendo Wii U. Before leaving you to watch the trailer, which as always you can find on the cover of this article, we remind you again that Pikmin 3 Deluxe will arrive on Nintendo Switch on October 30th.
