By now we know, the microtransactions are increasingly popular and video games contain more and more. It is completely normal, in fact these small purchases are now the main source of income for many companies in the sector.
Just to protect the consumer, however, the PEGI (Pan European Game Information, video game classification method used in almost the entire European territory) has been updated, creating a new icon that clearly specifies that the game in question contains microtranzation, thus informing the possible customer before the purchase. The new symbol will in fact be compulsorily inserted, together with all the icons already present, in all new games sold in physical format.
