As previously announced by Geoff keighley through his personal Twitter profile, The Game Awards 2020 have also reserved a space for the new version of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139, the re-release of the previously released title, exclusively in Japan, for PlayStation 3 in 2010, which was officially shown through a gameplay trailer. This new edition, edited by Toylogic in collaboration with Platinum Games and Square Enix, is preparing to arrive in the West starting next April 23, 2021 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for PC (via Steam).
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will offer a large number of improvements and new content dedicated entirely to the players, starting with extremely improved gameplay and completely modernized graphics, dubbed dialogues and the introduction of new game content, including unreleased music and soundtracks and new characters . Similarly, this new version of the game will see many faces within the development team who have already worked on the first version of the title, including director Yoko Taro, producer Yosuke Saito and acclaimed composer Keiichi Okabe, a trio of which we have already had the opportunity to see the work within NieR Automata, the title released in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC and in 2018 for Xbox One.
We just have to wait for more information on the title, in the meantime we remind you that this edition of The Game Awards will see the presentation of more than a dozen world exclusive titles, so we advise you to stay connected on the site to receive further updates on the titles that will be shown during the event.
