After the great success achieved with The Last of Us Part 2, the game director and head of Naughty Dog Neil Druckmann confirmed on Twitter that his studio is already working on several new projects and that he can't wait to share more details with all the fans and enthusiasts. Unfortunately, for now we have not yet known anything about what these new games are in development in the Santa Monica software house, and knowing Druckmann we will see some images of these works only when the development is already very advanced.
If you keep tweeting me asking about future projects, unfortunately I can't tell you anything yet, please be patient. We have several very interesting projects that we can't wait to show you. As soon as we can do it I assure you that we will show them to you!
It is not a big surprise that the development house is already working on new projects, given that on their official website they have been looking for new positions to take within the studios for some time. We already know that one of them could be the long-awaited one multiplayer expansion of The Last of Us Part 2, which has been talked about for months now ... what has intrigued thousands of fans in Druckmann's tweet that you can also find at the bottom of the news is that there are "different" projects in the pipeline, thus implying that the works can be even more than twoe.
Naughty Dog has so far kept the projects it is working on particularly secret, so it could very well be working on the follow-up to an existing series or even a new IP in fantasy style. Now the series of Uncharted can be considered concluded also given the stupendous epilogue of the adventures of Nathan Drake with the fourth chapter released in 2016, but according to some fans it could return in style with a fifth chapter ... or according to someone else, the software house could draw from its past and bring back a historic brand like that of Jak and Daxter.
If you tweet at me, asking about a future project, I can't say anything… Please stay patient. We have several cool things we can't wait to share with you. As soon as we can, we will! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/kzzCmvS5a0
