Two new films from the anthology at the beginning of January Mission: Impossible have been announced for imminent production, with release estimated for 2021 and 2022. We now have confirmation that the estimate was real, the official dates being released! As reported by Variety Paramount Pictures announced that the films will both be released in the summers of their respective years. Mission: Impossible 7 it will be released on July 22, 2021, while the sequel will be released on August 5, 2022.

Both films will once again be directed and scripted by Christopher McQuarrie. by Tom Cruise naturally he will reprise the role of Agent Ethan Hunt.
