There isn't a moment of rest for Hideaki Itsuno, game director of Devil May Cry 5, which arrived in stores just a month ago for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Itsuno has in fact published on Twitter some photos of a dinner held in recent days with the game development team and "the team responsible for a new project". This new project could be the long-awaited sequel to Dragon's dogma, in fact in the past Itsuno has stated that he wanted to work on a sequel to the title originally released in 2012, but he had to give priority to Devil May Cry 5, as Capcom did not have sufficient resources to develop two AAAs at the same time.
At this point, also given the excellent reception of Dante's new adventure, it is possible that the Japanese company has 'granted' the director to take care of Dragon's Dogma 2. Capcom has in fact shown to continue to believe in the franchise, as evidenced by the support to Dragon's Dogma Online and the arrival of Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen on Switch.
It was a joint cherry-blossom viewing of the DMC 5 team and the new project team.
