For lovers of vampire stories, it will come soon Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars, new strategy published by Kalypso Media and developed by Palindromes interactive. The title will be available next 28th August to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch. The story is set in a world of fighting vampires and places the player in command of a clan to manage and organize, with the aim of taking over rival clans through a turn-based combat system.
We will be able to choose to play as one of the three main characters: Dracul, Nosfernus e Moroia. Each of these, driven by their own goals, will have at their disposal differentiated unit powers and game mechanics, which will allow us to use a peculiar game strategy depending on the selected protagonist.
Among the main features of the title, we note the possibility of discovering the secrets of Nemire, the game world, through a script that will develop over the course of the twelve missions. The unfolding of the story will allow the possibility of experiencing four different environments, seen through the perspective of the powerful vampires that we will be called to lead. Furthermore, you will be able to choose three gameplay modes: the Countryside, dedicated to the main story, the mode sandbox, a sort of open-world, and the Skirmish mode, designed for the most competitive players.
Community expectations are very positive about Kalypso Media's new publishing, as it is a company specializing in strategic video games, including the hit series Tropico, Port Royale and Railway Empire. As for the development house, the Swedes of Palindrome Interactive, we are instead faced with the first major game developed. The team, born thanks to five friends who met at the University of Skövde in 2015, counts today 16 employees.
For those who can't wait until August 28, and have pre-ordered the title, there is an opportunity to try the Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars beta, available on the Microsoft Store via Xbox Game Preview.
