Lupine, the new branded TV series Netflix (you can read our review by clicking here), contains a rather curious videogame-themed easter egg. In a scene present in the fourth episode, in fact, we see the protagonist Assane Diop and his son Raoul playing with one PlayStation 4 both holding a DualShock. The title the two are playing is Horizon Zero Dawn, which however is not a game that has a multiplayer mode. It was exclusive PlayStation developed by Guerrilla Games, in this Netflix series, it is therefore treated as a competitive product, since at one point the child says to his father: "shot to the head, you are poor".
It must be said, however, that a first version of Horizon Zero Dawn actually included a much larger map with the addition of a cooperative mode, which, however, was cut shortly before the final release of the title. We might therefore think that in this “universe” parallel to ours that cooperative version of Horizon Zero Dawn was actually released alongside the base game.
Speaking of Horizon, Guerrilla Games is ready to return to the post apocalyptic world that sees the protagonist Aloy with the second chapter of the series, that is Horizon forbidden west, a title officially announced in June last year during the presentation event of PlayStation 5. The title in question will be cross gen, that is, it will be released on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. We do not yet know when Horizon Forbidden West will make its debut, but we do know that it will be released in an unspecified period of 2021. But what we know for sure thanks to some official news is that the new adventure starring Aloy will enjoy a larger map and instant quick travel thanks to the new and powerful SSD mounted on the new generation console (no info in this sense instead for the old generation version).
