It's been several weeks since Warner Bros. Interactive announced Hogwarts legacy, video game developed by Avalanche Software - known for their work in Cars 2, Cars 3 Driven to win and Toy Story 3 - set in the magical and mysterious universe of Harry Potter. The news has certainly made the happiness of many fans around the world, but the writer JK Rowling he is currently in a difficult situation in his professional career. In fact, the author recently joined in the eye of the storm because of some comments on social networks accused of being of transphobic nature. For this, several enthusiasts have decided to boycott any product linked to Rowling such as books, films, merchandise and even video games.
With the announcement of Hogwarts Legacy the fans got there though find yourself divided, since the work itself has apparently done nothing wrong. The President of the videogames section of the company, that is David Haddad, in fact, answered questions about the possible effects on Hogwarts Legacy caused by Rowling's current reputation.
