Great news for players of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, within the year the titles will all support the cross-play, thus allowing players PC e Xbox One to play online games together. Very soon they will arrive there PC file sharing (for graphics and audio options), mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One, Custom Game Browsers and so on. The news comes directly from the developers: 343 Industries. Once the cross-play will be implemented it will be possible to select the game based on the server region or in base to the input used, perhaps to avoid the much-criticized question of "mouse and keyboard are stronger than the controller", (problem solved very well by Apex Legends). As for the games, however, the developers want to bring the campaigns of ODST e Halo 4 within the PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. But not only, ODST Firefight will come with an updated network on both Xbox One and PC.
Unfortunately we are not told when these updates will arrive, but it has been indicated 2020 as the release window. Perhaps we will find out more during the event that should be held in September, always dedicated to titles Xbox. If in the first there was much talk of Halo Infinite, perhaps in this case the focus will shift to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which is one of the Xbox flagship games which is slowly coming to PC. But not only that, there are other titles that have not been seen or of which we only got a taste during the last event. One of these could be, for example, the new one Senua's Saga: Hellblade II that will exploit theU. For now, we just have to wait for Xbox to become official, hoping that the plans for the evolution of this collection will materialize as soon as possible.
