Halo Infinite: an actor may have revealed the release date

An actor of Halo Infinite may have inadvertently revealed the release date of the title: next November 2021. Last week during a long podcast the actor Verlon Roberts appeared to talk about his career. At one point the conversation turned to Halo Infinite, and Roberts commented that "the game has now moved to the end of November this year". At the moment, however, we don't have an official release date for Halo Infinite, outside of the Fall 2021 window.

Roberts' comments they would seem to narrow that release window until November, which is actually the month Halo Infinite was supposed to launch last year, along with the new ones Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, before he was postponed. Roberts claims he has access to this information because, as he reveals in the interview, he will be playing it Spartan Griffin in Halo Infinite. The character, who originally appeared in the novel by Shadows of Reach, wasn't actually announced for the upcoming game, so it looks like Roberts may have revealed a little more than he intended with these comments on the game by 343 Industries.

Also in the interview, Roberts shared what it was like to have worked on Halo Infinite. The actor revealed he had voiceover provided and to have done work of motion capture for this sequel, along with everything that involves doing this kind of job, "more stressful" than you might imagine. Roberts also claimed to have done some motion capture scenes with the actor playing the Master Chief, so we know that the protagonist and Spartan Griffin they will share some scenes from the game.

Spartan Griffin isn't the only character rumored to appear in Halo Infinite. Previously, the actor who played the Arbiter had anticipated the return of his character in this new chapter of the saga, so we could see some sort of reunion between the two protagonists. We will have to wait a few more months to know which character will surely return in the next Halo, and if indeed the latter will arrive in November.
