Great news arrives today for all gamers. Just a few minutes ago, during the streaming event dedicated to Stadia, Google has announced the debut date of this service and the games present at its launch. To take the floor is Phil Harrison which, after repeating the information already in our possession on Stadia, showed the public all the publishers who will collaborate to ensure fun for gamers.
The first announcement that is made to us, through a beautiful trailer, is the new game produced by Larian Studios, a work that many have been waiting for for a long time: it is Baldur's Gate III.
The advantage of Google Stadia lies in the absence of downloads, game patches and installations. If you think you have problems using this service because of your connection, do not be afraid: Google has in fact shown the connections necessary to play with the different resolutions and, on paper, it is all very accessible, even for those who do not have a performing internet line. Those who want to carry out tests on their connection to understand at what resolution they would be able to play through Google Stadia, can do so at this link through the proprietary speedtest.
The conference then continued at a fast pace, showing us some videos of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Gylt, a very interesting horror game developed by Tequila Works, a party game called Get Packed and The Division 2.
And finally the revelation that everyone was waiting for, the price and the launch window. Stadia Pro will debut in November and will cost $ 9,90 per month. This service will allow you to play in 4K at 60fps with Dolby 5.1 and will give access to a selection of free video games and discounts for purchase on the proprietary store. Those who do not want to pay the monthly subscription will have the possibility, starting from 2020, to use the free version of the service that will allow you to play at a maximum resolution of 1080P without Dolby 5.1.
The Google Stadia controller will cost $ 69 and, those who do not have a Smart TV will be able to purchase the Stadia Founder's Edition package which will contain a Chromecast Ultra, a limited edition controller, 3 months of Stadia Pro subscription, exclusive content for Destiny 2 at an introductory price of $ 129.
Those who missed the conference can now see it through the player at the top of the article. If instead you were interested in pre-order the Stadia Founder's Edition package, you can do it through this link.
