Fifa 21 is about to arrive in the catalog of Xbox Game Pass, as one of the next titles to be added to the already colossal digital library di Microsoft products. The game will be released in May for all subscribers to the service in the version Ultimate of the subscription that for some months has also included within it the EA Play; the service created by Electronic Arts to be able to play a wide selection of titles from the publisher, as well as to be able to try the full versions of the most recent games released, with a long test session of 10 hours.
Fifa 21 is therefore only the last of the many titles branded EA that land on the Xbox Game Pass, with other sports-themed products such as all the above Fifa e Madden NFL 21 that have arrived in the last few months, after the partnership signed between Microsoft and Electronic Arts has been successful. A winning collaboration for both parties that have considerably enlarged the audience, respectively for services (Microsoft) and games (EA).
Xbox Game Pass is therefore proving to be the tool of an interesting strategy by the house of Redmond. A tactic that includes partnership systems or real publisher acquisitions with the inclusion of huge quantities of games in the Game Pass, as in the Bethesda case.
In fact, precisely because the Xbox Game Pass catalog that is expanding visibly, we are not surprised that EA has decided to release its latest and recent football chapter also to subscribers of the Ultimate version, precisely because this system could expand further the already substantial fanbase of the title.
We also add that Fifa 21 and other sports titles are just some of the many relatively recent products that have been included in Microsoft's subscription, with the inclusion for example of Star wars squadrons which just arrived on the service a few weeks ago, after being launched in October last year.
