Great news for all players of Destiny. Bungie has in fact just released the trailer for the latest Destiny 2 Season, the Season of the Hunt. In the Season of the Hunt the followers of Xivu Arath they will try to seize power for an unknown reason. The Guardians will have to work with Spider to track down new villains and find out why Xivu is rallying recruits to his side. It therefore seems that Destiny 2 is preparing to show all its users a really substantial update.
The Season of the Hunt brings with it a new one level cap of power and a new artifact with new mods and improvements for combat. The Season of the Hunt will take place from November 10th to February 9th and the Seasonal Mission will start on November 17th. Players will be able to hunt down the followers of Xivu Arath in a new season-specific activity.
Entire planets have vanished. In the ensuing chaos, Xivu Arath, the hive goddess of war, moves boldly in search of power. If left free to act, it will threaten a solar system already in turmoil. This new Season will have a large number of new activities and gear:
• Lunar Hawk Exotic Achievement
• New weapons for the Trials of Osiris
• New sets of ritual weapons
• New Season Pass and rewards
• New universal armor ornaments
During the holiday season, the seasonal Aurora event will also return and Guardians will once again be able to deliver cookies across the galaxy. This year, new recipes will be available to give to old and new friends by offering players event packs and a new weapon. Destiny 2: Beyond Light was launched worldwide on November 10, when Guardians everywhere embraced the Dark. The game is available now on Steam, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One - or on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S. from 8 December.
