Developed by Behavior Interactive, Dead by D is an asymmetrical horror game and as you well know it consists of a 4v1, which bases its foundation on a killer who attempts to sacrifice every survivor. This has been the modus operandi of the title since its release date, but since the developer has introduced the latest expansion dedicated to the famous Silent Hill brand, the possibility that a new game mode it is not to be excluded.
Related to this, during an interview related to the chapter 16: Silent Hill and granted to the website Rely on horror, the creative director of Behavior Interactive Dave Richard he said "who knows what can happen as the game and its community grows." Dead by Daylight continues to expand on different platforms including a recent one mobile version very playful and manages to hook some big fish in the videogame field such as Konami for licensed additions, so it's not entirely foolish to assume that the game could reach that point. Bottom line, although Richard said "never say never" when talking about a potential new game mode, the developers are currently focused on other projects.
We know that Dead by Daylight currently only has one game mode, however the new killers and survivors of each update offer different perks that would help vary the experience where possible. You can view the trailer of the new expansion - already released - dedicated to Silent Hills directly here.
