The asymmetrical horror developed by Behavior Interactive in 2016 has reinvented and revolutionized the genre. After Dead by Daylightin fact, very similar games have started to emerge at great speed for both fixed and mobile systems. The most recent is the case of Project REsistance, detailed here, which also seems to have been inspired by the 4vs1 gameplay system of Dead by Daylight. The Behavior Interactive title, however, continues unlike many others to stay afloat, thanks to porting that has already taken place on PS4 and Xbox One, but above all a post-launch support that does not show signs of stopping.
After several cross-overs with many other works, the first of which was the one with Michael Myers in “The Halloween Chapter“, the game has expanded incredibly into a Game as a Service on balance. Several other non-original characters were later incorporated into the game, as well as several killers and survivors devised by the company itself. The developers have now started a very interesting new horror-themed collaboration for their game. We talk about Stranger Things, the Netflix series that has been very successful with its seasons, which now appear thanks to a DLC in Dead by Daylight. The iconic characters of the series, Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington, are now two new survivors, who must escape the grip of the entity. The new killer is instead the Demo-gorgon, born through the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, he is the main antagonist of the series set in the 80s, and from today also a new servant of the entity. The DLC is already available for purchase on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but will certainly be added later also on Nintendo Switch, the platform where the September 24th the port of the game will arrive.
