After the news of a possible lawsuit against CD Projekt RED, linked to the poor performance of cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, that convinced Sony to remove the game from the PlayStation Store, there really seems to be no peace for the title developed by the Polish production house. Last among the problems is that related to screenshot that players can perform on Xbox One and on Xbox Series X / S.
A Windows Central reporter, whose name is Richard Devine, would indeed have received one mail from the Xbox Live service in which he is informed of an action taken against his account, following the deletion of content that contained "inappropriate content". The cause? One screenshot taken from a game session in Cyberpunk 2077. Apparently Denive has no idea what exactly the offending screen could be, but it is easy to guess that inside the image there were some rather explicit sexual content (which, as we know, in the game there is no shortage, between red light districts, sexual toys of various kinds and total nudity present even in the initial editor).
While waiting for Microsoft to officially express itself on the subject, please do not take screenshots in Cyberpunk 2077, or at least to pay close attention to what is actually displayed on the screen at the precise moment you decide to take it. Cyberpunk 2077 is rated +18 PEGI, Then the game shows nothing more than it is already allowed. It is curious, however, to note that on any streaming platform the title is shown without any problem, since the day of its release. It is therefore probable that MIcrosoft could adopt a particular yardstick for the unfortunate role-playing game of CD Projekt RED, allowing you to take screenshots of all kinds. However, this may not happen quickly (or it may never happen), so we renew our invitation to pay close attention to the screenshots you decide to immortalize in-game. It might cost you a ban and complicate the next holidays for you (since, unfortunately, we will have to spend them at home…). At the bottom, the alleged message received from the Windows Central reporter.
