Starting today, 10th December, is finally available cyberpunk 2077, the highly anticipated new RPG CD Project Red. Between hidden messages and exorbitant numbers of players connected at the same time, the title had a memorable launch, especially considering the version PC of the game, which has always been considered the 'main' one for the Polish software house, which did not help console editions, which after the first tests they don't seem to be performing exactly.
Thanks to an in-depth analysis by Tom Morgan of Digital Foundry showed that the version for Xbox One e PlayStation 4 by Cyberpunk 2077 turns in a much less efficient way, with a low frame rate and lots of texture pop-ups when the game screen becomes more occupied with different elements. Morgan, who took the following data from a version of the title played on a regular PlayStation 4, confirms that the resolution that fluctuates between 720p and 900p. As for the frame rate, the game runs at 30fps in the indoor sections (with dips of up to 25), while driving around the city performance drops down to 20fps. In addition to these problems, there are also some hiccups of the game system in the most excited sequences, in which it could happen that an object is not loaded or a character remains in 'T-Pose'.
The situation improves a lot when playing on next-gen consoles, although they currently only work thanks to the backwards compatibility function present both on Xbox Series X / S and on PlayStation 5. Obviously the audience of fans and enthusiasts has not digested this thing at all, indicating protests and - of course - creating a myriad of memes that make fun of the very approximate work that CD Projekt Red made for old-gen consoles. Hoping that the situation can be resolved as soon as possible, perhaps with one patch or updating future, we remind you that Cyberpunk is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Staff, and via backward compatibility also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.

This is Cyberpunk 2077 - PS4 version 1.00. Resolution is literally below 720p and the game takes 20 seconds to load in textures. Inexcusable. Unfathomable. Unplayable. pic.twitter.com/gdApyfmgAi
