After the "mea culpa" of CD Projekt RED on the state of cyberpunk 2077, its PS4 e Xbox One base, a topic we have already extensively discussed on our pages, we can now focus on the new medium and long-term plans of the Polish firm. From the words of the co-founder of CD Projekt RED, Marcin Iwinski, on the official apology video, we can in fact assume that the developers already have plans for the realization of future projects, «In addition to Cyberpunk, we have many plans for the future that we will share when we are ready», hinting with the clarification of the "when we are ready" that there are concrete plans for their IPs, but that there will probably still be a lot to wait.
As for the future projects in the field for CD Projekt RED we can only speculate, but it seems at least probable the announcement of a title that is not themed The Witcher in the coming years, after in fact the recent confirmation of the landing of the series on mobile and the new official chapter. We have known for some time that the software house will soon release patches for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt su PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X / S, designed to improve support for the next-gen.
The presentation of the roadmap in the video at the bottom of the article shows how the works on Cyberpunk 2077 are for now the absolute priority for the Polish team, with at least two corrective patches arriving in the next two months, which bring with them the goal of improving optimization for Old Gen consoles. In the middle of the year, a series of completely free DLCs will be released on the same level as what happened on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and then the release of dedicated patches Playstation 5 e Xbox Series X / S in the last months of 2021. The plans for the multiplayer release are still unknown, but from the roadmap we can assume that it will not arrive before 2022.
