Could Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War be announced in August?

As you know, starting from 2005 the saga of Call of Duty saw a chapter of the series come out every fall. This was possible thanks to the joint effort of the development teams Infinity Ward (since 2003), Treyarch
(since 2005) and Sledgehammer Games (since 2011). However, according to some rumors that have occurred in recent months, it seems that this year the talked about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War it may be delayed.

According to the roadmap followed by the publisher of the entire saga, Activision, this year should have been the turn of SledgeHammer GAMES regarding the development of a new Call of Duty. The development team would have the support of Raven Software, but it seems that the two companies have had production problems and that is why Treyarch has come forward to complete the work.

According to some new rumors of the famous Call of Duty insider and leaker Tom Henderson, an official announcement could arrive by August:

I have learned that the announcement of the next COD may be postponed to August.

Still the same Henderson, however, a few days ago, he said he was worried about this silence on the part of Activision, and according to him, there is at least a 50% chance that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War may not see the light this year.

Schreier's COD comment on it not being announced for a while has me quite concerned. Over and over again I've heard the game is in a mess, despite claims it's "on track". I reported about 4-5 months ago that is isn't where it needs to be. I'm 50/50 on if the game will be delayed.
