CD Projetk RED, after the half misstep with cyberpunk 2077, released months ago with serious and numerous technical problems that have even forced the title to be removed from the PlayStation Store (here is the latest patch arrived just today that significantly improves the final product), must re-engage and plan a good strategy for the future of the company. Considering their most important brands, that is Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher, the foundations to optimize the future in the best way are certainly there.
As you can see from the video placed on the cover of the article, the Polish software house has drawn what we can define a roadmap of this 2021 inherent to the two titles mentioned, obviously giving a look to the future in the medium and long term. In the movie, titled CD PROJEKT Group: Strategy Update, the development study wanted to reiterate how the intent of the boys is to work on both IPs, guaranteeing maximum quality, optimizing and reorganizing everything that needs to be done. In fact, their goal will be to introduce new generations of gamers, as well as an increasingly wider audience, to an excellent final experience, rich in content and quality.
Objectives certainly not easy to achieve, but in the full capacity of the company, which as stated, will also use the improvements of the proprietary graphics engine, the RED engine 2.0, and new online technologies. At the bottom of the article we leave you to some tweet posted on the official channel that better explain part of this optimization and implementation process.
In the meantime, we remind you that Cyberpunk 2077, released last 10th December, is available on PC, PlayStation 4 (PS5 via backwards compatibility), Xbox One (Xbox Series X / S via backwards compatibility) and Google Stadia. We still don't know anything about the versions dedicated to the next-gen. Probably the company wants to first file further blunders present within the adventure and then come out again through a "new" edition.
