The last chapter of the most famous war shooter among video games has been released for some time now: we are talking about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, developed by Treyarch in collaboration with Raven Software e Beenox and published as always by Activision Blizzard. The title, although it has received more than positive reviews, has not been exempt from various criticisms, especially on the consumer side, so much so as to drop the review meter on the Metacritic portal down to an average that practically settles on 3.0, which however the famous and indisputable modality was appreciated almost unanimously zombie. The only problem, and not a small one, is the "obligation" of having to play on one and only map present since the launch of the work.
The software house had made it known that no new map would be present before the launch of the Season 2. However, Treyarch retracted this today and surprised the gaming community by announcing the arrival of Firebase Z, the new map that will be available and playable in just two weeks. At the moment we don't know much in detail about this new area, but what little we know has been directly declared by the software house and that we report in full below:
With the destruction of the WWII era "Projekt Endstation" site, after investigating the otherworldly anomaly of the dark ether in Poland, Requiem now focuses on the latest site of the dark ether epidemic: the Outpost 25, known by the code name Firebase Z.
The development studio will certainly have more information in the coming days before the launch of the new map, presumably showing a gameplay trailer and also releasing various information about it. We remind you again that the Firebase Z will be available free of charge starting Thursday, February 4, 2021. Stay tuned to our pages to find out all the news on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
