Despite the great success of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is making it very quickly become one of the most influential titles in the saga, many players are already wondering how this decades-long series will evolve. Among the hypotheses on a possible return to the Second World War, today a new rumor has emerged that could confirm the development of a new spin-off of the series completely dedicated to the Zombie mode, one of the most famous and played by all fans and enthusiasts of the franchise.
The well-known insider and leaker of Call of Duty Tom Henderson recently revealed on his official Twitter profile that a new chapter of the shooter series completely focused on zombie mode would be in development, and that at the moment it is in the very early stages of development. Furthermore Henderson always through tweets confirmed that this game "is not strictly connected to any other title in the saga", indicating how this spin-off could be the first chapter of the saga without any kind of content not related to the killing of zombies, both for the single-player campaign and for all modes for online play.
Obviously the insider does not go so far as to divulge other details about this alleged project, but surely all the Call of Duty players would really look forward to getting their hands on this title completely focused on the undead. After the great debut of the update Firebase Z For Cold War, media and gamer attention has focused heavily on zombie mode, and while nothing is official yet, fans can feel relieved to know that Treyarch e Activision they may be working on a new project, but unfortunately for now we just have to wait and cross our fingers, hoping for an announcement to arrive as soon as possible.
There is a separate Call of Duty zombies project in early development, that is currently not connected to any title.
