On the occasion of the PAX Online Digital Showcase, Gearbox announced the new features coming soon on Borderlands 3, including confirmation that the latest installment of the hit action RPG-shooter produced by 2K Games will be released in the future on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X e Series S. In addition, the US development team announced that those who bought the title for the current videogame generation (PlayStation 4 or Xbox One) will receive a completely free update which will allow you to play Borderlands 3 also on new Sony and Microsoft peripherals.
But that's not all, as the update will allow players to transfer to PS5, Xbox Series X e Series S all previously purchased content and progress achieved, thanks to cross-progression and cross-save support. At the moment we don't know if the update will be available for those who have purchased a physical copy of Borderlands 3, or it will be “valid” only for the digital version. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X theaction RPG-shooter di Gearbox e 2K Games not only will support 4K and 60 frames per second, but will see the addition of two highly anticipated features; there local co-op mode for four players and split screen vertically. This last feature will also be available on the current PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, thanks to the release of a completely free patch.
