Bleeding Edge, title developed by Ninja Theory, will no longer receive content-related updates. The decision of the British production company came just ten months after the launch of the title, which took place on March 24 last year. A drastic choice, however, dictated by the enormous amount of work from which the developers are submerged. The software house is struggling with the development of Project Mara (we talked about it here), an ambitious job that requires a lot of effort; with the sequel to the critically acclaimed Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, or Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 and finally with The Insight Project.
The announcement came via Twitter through the same developers who, using the official account of the title, communicated their decision to users. The interruption of the support, in any case, does not sanction the end of this video game: you can in fact continue to have fun with the Ninja Theory product through your PC or yours Xbox. However, it is possible that i server can be turned off forever, thus depriving you of the true essence of the title: the online multiplaying. However, it should be remembered that, at least at the moment, there are no official communications that confirm or deny a hypothesis of this type. We just have to wait, deceiving the wait, perhaps, with a couple of fights.
What is Bleeding Edge? It's a multiplayer fighting game. You can choose from thirteen characters, some of which make melee attacks and others, instead, from a distance. They are divided into attack, support or tank characters. Everyone can access mechanical upgrades and the goal is to lead your team to victory. In short, the conditions for having fun playing it are all there. In any case, in case you want to learn more about this title, find our review here. Finally, remember that the title is available for Xbox Game Pass, so you can try it for free using your subscription.
With the studio now focusing on our new projects (Senua's Saga, Project Mara & The Insight Project) we have decided that there will be no further content updates for Bleeding Edge. The game is still playable on Xbox and PC. Thank you to the fans & keep teaming up & causing chaos!
