After many years of silence we finally return to talk about the saga of Bioshock, which ended several years ago with its last chapter Bioshock Infinite. The three titles released, and the last one in particular, have shocked the industry by leaving their indelible mark, and many have hoped for a return of the franchise on the shelves. Unfortunately, there are no current confirmations, but it seems that a possible announcement of Bioshock 3 both in the plans of Take Two Interactive.
The CEO of the company Strauss Zelnick has in fact recently referred to a large project on which the developers are working, which should be the return of a historic IP of the software house. Furthermore, although the story told in the Bioshock universe has been concluded, the magnificent and iconic underwater setting of Rapture certainly still has a lot to tell the public. The horror atmosphere and the shocklike gameplay could, with the right reinterpretation and evolution, still have their say in the current generation, or probably in the next.
