Back 4 Blood: The developers publish the first artwork of the game

It has now been more than a year since the announcement of Back 4 Blood, currently works in development at the studios of Turtle Rock Studios which sees their return to the genre of cooperative shooters. On the occasion of the American Independence Day, the famous 4th of July, the development team decided to publish the first artwork which depicts Hope: a camp heavily fortified by its inhabitants for defense against zombies. The authors of Left 4 Dead and Evolve, in fact, have decided to return to a 'setting overrun with undead that, in a sense, we can consider it as a return to the past by the development team. Indeed, the co-founder and design director Chris Ahston stated the following words at the announcement of the project:

It is difficult to put into words how important this occasion is. We have the opportunity to return to a genre born in our studio with over ten more years of experience behind us, as well as many ideas about zombies that have come to mind in the meantime. We can also count on the help of the best teammates from around the industry, WBIE, who understand our development process and are as convinced as we are of the 'players first' philosophy. We like to be able to officially announce our projects, because we can start working with the community right away.

This video game that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment plans to post on PlayStaton 4, Xbox One and PC is developed with theUnreal Engine 4, intends to include one PvP component, a story mode it's a total absence of any battle royale element. Unfortunately we have no actual image or video of this title Triple A currently in the works at Turtle Rock Studios California, but we invite you to read our Evolve review to get an idea of the talent of this development team.

Getting to this 4th of July has been tough on all of us, so we wanted to give you a sneak peek and a bit of Hope. pic.twitter.com/buGOBayz5N
