Assassin's Creed Valhalla di Ubisoft closely follows the story of the Viking warrior Eivor, while he and his people land in England to create new settlements. While the game focuses on Norse mythology as one of the main aspects of the plot, its historical context in the real world is equally important: this will in fact be the focus of its DLC Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids, out April 29, that the developers described and introduced in a recent interview.
This first DLC will bring Eivor to neighboring Ireland for new adventures while expanding The siege of Paris coming this summer will focus on France, many years before the French revolution seen with Assassin's Creed Unity of 2014. While recent rumors have suggested that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will have a third major DLC, these two expansions will both be included in the game's first Season Pass.
However, the associate narrative director of Ubisoft Bordeaux, Hugo Sahuquet he said Wrath of the Druids will go deep into the emerging culture of the Norse Gaels. Sahuquet said the DLC takes place approx 40 years after the Vikings first settled in Dublin, which quickly became "a very cosmopolitan city" thanks to the easier fusion of Viking and Irish culture, including weddings intended to provide protection, land and more.
It will have to be seen as the Siege of Paris or one potential third expansion they will add to this exploration of early European history, but for now it looks like fans have a lot of meat on it. This new DLC should then go to fix some bugs that still plague the base game, so hopefully Ubisoft will take the opportunity to refine its title to the best of its ability. We just have to wait for the arrival of this new and exciting DLC, Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids.
