In the past few hours on the virtual stage of Gamescom 2020 the reveal trailer for Aragami 2, the new third-person “ninja stealth game” by Lynx Works. The movie, which you can conveniently find on the cover, shows us a preview of some sequences taken directly from the game, focusing primarily on the game locations and abilities of the playable characters.
Furthermore, it would appear that Aragami 2 resume the storyline of the first chapter, with a clan who disappeared a hundred years earlier. In the new project of the Spanish development team, the player will take on the role of one of the last Aragami, a warrior struck by a supernatural "curse", which not only slowly corrodes the mind and body, but also grants the ninja great control over the shadows. In this sequel it will be possible join forces to protect your clan with up to three players, although the title can also be played in single player. But that's not all, since in Aragami 2 we will have to locate the prisoners, send or circumvent the guards and free the clan members from captivity.
In the first title, theEmpress Yamiko summoned a shadow spirit, the Aragami, and turned it against the Kaiho, an army trained in the manipulation of light against the forces of darkness. The enemies depicted in the trailer wield huge flaming blades in an effort to repel the shadows, and the best defense against such an opponent will be to take them out before they are even discovered. We remind you that Aragami 2 will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC in 2021.
