All PC gamers very often buy a console only for exclusive proposals, and we all know exactly how much PlayStation 4 has been strong from this point of view, proposing a series of exclusive video games often of the highest caliber and coming from very important series or software houses. But if one day Sony's CEO points to a poll, what would be the exclusives that all gamers would crave? What are those PlayStation 4 video games we all want on PC?
Bloodborne
Developed by FromSoftware and released on November 25, 2015, was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of Demon's Souls, the Dark Souls series and the most recent and reviewed by us Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The whole video game revolves around the blood concept, as can be guessed from the name of the game. In fact, our hunter (or huntress) "will be born" after having entered into a contract, which will consent to the execution of a blood transfusion coming from Yharnam, capable of turning people into angry beasts. The gamer will have to make his way by eliminating everything he encounters, going through dreams, nightmares and the wonderful and disturbing city mentioned above. Although the plot is really crazy and difficult to understand, it remains suggestive and enchanting, able to capture anyone who approaches the title, proved capable of moving away from the Souls saga.
Having Bloodborne on PC is a dream all players have placed in their drawer from before its release, precisely because with the hypothetical arrival of the From Software title on that platform, it could dramatically increase its replayability thanks to mods developed by gamers themselves. In addition, we must take into account both graphics and performance improvements that could characterize it, given how much it suffers especially from the latter point of view on consoles. But not only that, it would mean having almost all video games in the category souls-borne on PC (in fact, only Demon's Souls, exclusive to PlayStation 3, would be missing), which could push From Software to release the aforementioned title in its remastered or remake version, which many fans have been waiting for for years.
Days Gone
Always remaining on the subject of infected and blind fury, even Days Gone would be an excellent candidate for a hypothetical arrival on PC, as it would go to differentiate from the crowd of video games on zombies and the like, given the importance that SIE Bend Studio he wanted to give both the narrative component and the playful mechanics capable of mixing stealth and action based on the approach you want to have with the "furious".
Days Gone, released just a year ago, the April 26 2019, narrates the events experienced by Deacon, survived an epidemic which has turned much of the world's population into furious, mindless creatures hungry for human flesh. Our protagonist, two years before the events of the game, let his wife board a helicopter of the BLACK (body that deals with the epidemic) since the latter was injured due to a stab, only to learn that the helicopter crashed, without leaving any survivors. The final proof of his wife's death was the discovery of the ring given to her a moment before boarding the helicopter, found at the crash site.
But why want it on PC? Certainly for his gameplay: Days Gone is an open world where everything revolves around exploring and improving your vehicle, our trusty motorcycle. In addition, the plot has really serious implications and is capable of striking too the player with the coldest heart. It is also one of those titles that despite the enormous saturation of survival video games existing within the PC world, it is able to differentiate precisely because of its being open world and strongly narrative-driven.
Marvel's Spider Man
The video game created by Insomniac Games dedicated to the friendly neighborhood super hero, Marvel's Spider Man, and released on 7 September 2018, is probably the only title that can be perfectly contrasted with the Batman series: Batman. They are exactly ai antipodes as regards the mood, but similar in gameplay.
Of course, even our Peter Parker will have difficult moments, important choices to make, but the production is undoubtedly more cheerful in the mood and general tones, the exact opposite of what happened for the Bat Man. On the one hand, a Rocksteady with a deliberately dark and dark franchise, on the other hand an Insomniac that offers players the chance to wander Spider Man with only their briefs on, which is more than enough to give an idea of the tones offered.
So why want it on PC? Just because it contrasts with Batman? Absolutely not. The gameplay proposed by Marvel's Spider-Man it's really funny, light but dynamic. It is characterized by a feeling of physicality of the shots that is very much felt despite the fight is definitely very arcade. It is simply a great title to have on your PC.
Uncharted 4: End of a Thief
If you lived through the era PlayStation 3, it's hard not to have tried the series at least once N about the thief Nathan Drake. But all stories have to end, right? And so on May 10, 2016, the American software house put the word "end" on the franchise. Uncharted 4: End of a Thief it is one of those video games that must be played even if the previous chapters are not known, it is certainly much more intense if you have lived the whole narrative arc, but it is very enjoyable even alone.
Enjoy the many scripted scenes flanked by an even more fluid framerate and a more detailed graphic component compared to the PlayStation 4 counterpart (and here we must applaud the developers, who have really done magic with their graphics engine) it would certainly be beautiful, as well as it would be fantastic to have mods that also allow the use of the free cam, so as to better admire the settings of the video game, ranging between forests, deserts and beautiful urban landscapes. Allowing PC players to bring Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (which is a carousel of unforgettable emotions) to life would be great too, but maybe it's really just a dream.
God of War
Last but not least, God of War, developed by Santa Monica, released on April 20, 2018 and at the center of numerous rumors as for the arrival on PC, never made official by Sony and that we will probably never see. But why do many want this reboot on your personal computer? For the Norse setting and certainly for the fantastic battles that can be faced, capable of requiring a lot of effort and always spectacular at the right point. Its no longer being a hack 'n' slash has for many destroyed what was God of War on PlayStation 2, but if the gameplay has been tweaked to catch up with the present day, the soul of the God of War remained intact, even if you have to wait a bit before it reveals itself in all its violence.
This new God of War is narrative-driven, but it's primarily a one-of-a-kind experience. Begins with Kratos and Atreus that they have to go on a journey, and that is exactly what it will be, a journey. In some respects it might even bring to mind what we saw with The Last of Us (and no, I'm not referring to the "walk simulator", but to the behavior of the two protagonists), but this does not mean that it should be a "low-ranking" game, indeed, it is a title that manages to arouse very strong emotions from the very beginning. In other words, we are talking about an experience that could be distinguished from the mass of PC video games by its being muscles and heart, and not just muscles or just the heart.
Any video game has its qualities, its strengths and weaknesses, but it must be admitted that Sony really has dominated all with its exclusives, perhaps only Nintendo Switch manages to reach the level of PlayStation 4 with really powerful outputs. We'll see if he can do the same with the console for the next generation, PlayStation 5, or if the advantage obtained will lead her to rest on her laurels allowing her "rivals" to overcome her. For the moment it is still early to say, so at present we can only advise you to enjoy the various titles available exclusively on PlayStation 4, of which the entire list can be viewed on the official website.
