Assassin's Creed Origins: guide to the Papyri and their treasures

With this guide we will show you the location and the solution to the 25 papyri scattered in the temples of the game world of Assassin's Creed Origins. Collecting the papyri will earn you some XP as a reward, but each papyrus will leave you with a puzzle to decipher which will lead you to a special treasure that, in addition to earning you a special or excellent piece of equipment, will earn you 500XP and 300 Drachmas.

THE PAPYRUS: APOLLONIN OF CYRENE - ALIVE OR DEAD

Position: you will find the papyrus inside the Apollonin of Cyrene, west of the barracks in the northwestern part of the city. Precisely on a table.

Solution: head to the Roman encampment of Surus in the green mountains, where the war elephant Surus lives (Lv. 40). The treasure is on the ground near the pond, west of the arena.

II PAPYRUS: ASCLEPIEION - THE FORGOTTEN CITY

Position: it is located at the back of the Asclepieion, in the green mountains in Balagrae.

Solution: The treasure is found in the hilltop ruin on the southern border of Paretonius.

III PAPYRUS: MASTABA OF THE EASTERN CEMETERY: STONE MUSHROOM

Position: at the eastern cemetery between the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx, look for the mastaba with a hole in the top, drop inside by pushing a boulder and take the papyrus.

Solution: from the top of the tomb of Menkaure you can see two rocks in the shape of a mushroom. The treasure is located on top of the smaller one.

IV PAPYRUS: HOUSE OF ROYAL GALENO-FLORA

Position: the papyrus is on the first floor of Galen's house in Natho.

Solution: south of Neith's cradle hiding place is a large tree on an islet, where the treasure is.

V PAPYRUS: GREAT LIBRARY - DIVIDED VALLEY

Position: to the southeast of the Kibotos you will find the Great Library of Alexandria, inside on a table you will find the papyrus.

Solution: at the center of the name of Sap-Meh there is a gorge that cuts the territory horizontally, inside look for a crocodile den, the treasure is at the foot of a tree at the edge of the den.

VI PAPYRUS: GREAT SYNAGOGUE - CRUEL NATURE

Position: on the back of the courtyard in a corner of the Great Synagogue you will find the papyrus placed on a table.

Solution: to the North East on the islet of the Canopus name, you will find an area with fallen trees, the treasure is at the foot of the only one left standing.

VII PAPYRUS: HOUSE OF IWN - OUTLAW

Position: the papyrus is located in the village south of Philadelphia.

Solution: take the road from north to south starting from the village of Kerke, in the center you will find a small village. The treasure is found in the fireplace full of pots that emits smoke.

VIII PAPYRUS: HOUSE OF LIFE - A GREAT DRINK

Position: in the village of Siwa look for the house of life, inside look for the tents, the papyrus is on the table in a tent.

Solution: southwest of Siwa Lake you will find a large well, dive in and collect the treasure.

IX PAPYRUS: HYPOSTILA ROOM - FERTILE LANDS

Position: go to the Sekhmet temple, in the pool room you will find the papyrus on the mezzanine floor.

Solution: northwest of the Sekhmet temple you will find a small settlement full of palm trees, you will find the treasure there.

X PAPYRUS: deafening silence

Position: on the island of Alexandria look for the Iseion temple, you will find the papyrus there.

Solution: in the bay north of the city there is an islet with a fallen tree, follow its top to find the treasure.

XI PAPYRUS: APOLLO'S ORACLE - HYDRAULIC WORKS

Position: in the Green Mountains region, you will find the papyrus inside the temple of the oracle of Apollo.

Solution: you will find the treasure in the cave hidden inside the Roman aqueduct.

XII PAPYRUS: PALAZZO DI APRIE - IN FULL VIEW

Position: in the palace of Aprie inside a small luxurious room surrounded by the heads of the Leonine deity, you will find the parchment on a shelf.

Solution: southeast of Cocodipolis you will find an island with pools for dyeing fabrics, the treasure is located in a rectangular orange pool.

XIII PAPYRUS: SERAPEO- THE LOOK OF STONE

Position: you will find the papyrus inside the Serapeo palace in Alexandria.

Solution: from the temple of Sekhmet you reach the island of the lost crypt, there you will find the treasure at the base of an incomplete column.

XIV PAPYRUS: SERAPEO OF KARANIS - THE Leaning Tower

Position: reach the village of Karanis, the papyrus will be inside the Serapeum.

Solution: starting from the village of Dionysias and going north-west, you will find an observation tower, the treasure will be at its base.

XV PAPYRUS: TOMB OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT - RAY OF HOPE

Position: the papyrus is located inside the tomb of Alexander the Great, on a limited part of the roof.

Solution: the treasure is located at the base of a tree located in the “Qattara depression”, inside a valley that leads to the only source of water in the area.

XVI PAPYRUS: TOMB OF BATTO - UNDERGROUND CURRENTS

Position: you will find the papyrus inside the circular temple in the southeast of Cyrene.

Solution: starting from Cyrene and heading south towards the Green Mountains, you will find the Roman camp of Collis, which is located in the middle of a lake. Follow the stream west to the source where you will find the treasure.

XVII PAPYRUS: TEMPLE OF HORUS - SEA OF SAND

Position: the papyrus is located in the temple of Horus, south-east of Letopoli.

Solution: in the name of Iment there is a fast travel point at the top of the mast of a ship stranded in the middle of the desert; to find the treasure, follow the shadow cast by the tree.

XVIII PAPYRUS: TEMPLE OF KHONSU- TWINS AFFRANTE

Position: in the northern part of Heracleion you will find the temple of Khonsu, you will find the papyrus there.

Solution: look for the islet that houses a ruined house in the village of Yw. Next to it you will find a swamp with a tree covered by moss immersed in water, the treasure is hidden there.

XIX PAPYRUS: TEMPLE OF PTAH- FALLEN FRIEND

Position: you will find the papyrus inside the temple of Ptah, located west of the larger structure in Memphis.

Solution: on the eastern banks of Menfi, where the river enters the city, there are two statues that guard the two banks of the river. Walk east from the southernmost statue and dive into the river. The treasure is buried deep next to a statue.

XX PAPYRUS: TEMPLE OF SOBEK - THE ANGER OF SOBEK

Position: you will find the papyrus inside the Sobek temple in Crocodilopoli.

Solution: the treasure is hidden in the abandoned Sobek temple, immediately below the ruined pyramid east of Crocodilopolis.

XXI PAPYRUS: TEMPLE OF THOT - THE SECRET OF THOT

Position: stands at the foot of the Toht statue in the underground temple west of Ermoupoli.

Solution: to the northeast of Uab's namesake, look for a leopard den, where the statue of Thoth once stood. Climb the tree by approaching the statue and from there perform a leap of faith, finally collect the treasure.

XXII PAPYRUS: TEMPLE OF ZEUS - EXCESSIVE HURRY

Position: the papyrus will be inside the temple of Zeus which is located in Central Cyrenaica.

Solution: from Apollonia swim to the lighthouse, the treasure will be on a wreck at the base of the lighthouse.

XXIII PAPYRUS: VALLEY MARKET - THE BLASPHEM

Position: the papyrus is in the market in the valley southeast of Eumeria.

Solution: head to the Heueris name. You will find many small pyramids, the treasure is in front of the second highest pyramid.

XXIV PAPYRUS: PACKAGING AREA - ARDENT BUSH

Position: entering Menfi from the name of Ineb-Hedjet and following the road to the west, you will find the embalming area, the papyrus is hidden there.

Solution: at the end of Ineb-Hedjet and Memphis, to the east, you will see a strip of land that remains within the borders. Look for the two palm trees on the eastern side of the Nile, just inside the Memphis region.

XXV PAPYRUS: STALLE DI ZEFIRO - BLIND ALLEY

Position: You will find the papyrus in the Zephyr stables east of the hippodrome.

Solution: In the crops north of Letopoli, you will find an irrigation system that carries water from the Nile. Follow the canals north, you will find the treasure in the northernmost channel.
